辽师大版英语五年下 Unit 8 On weekends 一、教材分析 本册教材主课文的题材多来自学生熟悉的学校生活和家庭生活,易学易用。 每单元所选单词和句型围绕日常生活中的一个主题展开,如介绍学校、社区、 我的一天,周末等。目的是使学生把学到的英语知识与他们的生活紧密结合起 来,学生在实际实践中学习,便于记忆和使用。学生通过学习课文,不仅能够 学会简单,实用的英语,也能够学会热爱祖国、礼貌待人、互相帮助、刻苦学 习、尊老爱幼、保护环境等优良品质和良好习惯。本单元重点是询问他人周末 活动及出行的交通方式的语言表达形式,并能对他人的询问,根据实际情况做 出回答。作为第一课时,主要是向学生呈现单词 study, work, have a picnic, by car, by taxi, on foot 和句子 Where do you have your piano lesson? How do you go there? 二、学情分析 五年级的学生活泼好动,纯真可爱。通过二年时间的学习,初步掌握了一 些基本的单词和句子,能根据教师指令做游戏、做动作。孩子们上课时能够专 心听讲,能够积极主动的发言,思想比较单纯,善于提问。但有些学生还是为 学习而学习,谈不上兴趣问题;个别同学在课堂上纪律不是很好,还存在顽劣 和懒惰倾向。他们有强烈的表现欲,他们喜欢得到别人的表扬,老师的表扬能 积极推动他们的学习。运用富有灵活性的表扬语肯定学生,他们会因此而继续 努力。 三、教学目标 1.能听、说、认读全部词汇,能书写并运用核心词汇 with, parent, far, by bike, study, work, have a picnic, by car, by taxi, on foot。 2.能听懂、认读并能在日常交际中运用核心语言 Where do you have your piano lesson? How do you go there? 谈论周末活动。 3.能听懂、会说 Listen and say 板块的对话,并能迁移到具体的语境中得 体地运用。 4.能体会到学习英语的乐趣;积极参与各种课堂学习活动;积极运用所 学英语进行表达和交流;在词汇与相应事物间建立联想。 5.培养合理安排周末的时间、参加有益活动的良好习惯。 四、教学重难点 重点: 1. 听、说、读、写并运用目标单词与短语。 2. 听懂、认读并能在日常交际中运用目标语言,熟练进行词汇的替换。 3. 理解一般现在时态特殊疑问句的句式及用法,并正确表达和运用。 难点: 1.理解、认读短语 on weekends, on holidays。 2.能识记并灵活运用表示交通方式的短语“by+交通工具名词”。 五、教学准备 课件、头饰、图片 六、教学步骤 Step One Warm up 1.Say hello to the students. 2.Have a chant together. Monday, Tuesday, we are very happy. Wednesday, Thursday, we’re very unhappy. Friday, Friday, we are very crazy. Saturday , Sunday, we are very happy. Why are we happy? Why are we happy? Can you tell me? Can you tell me? Step Two Presentation Presentation 1 1. T: Why are we happy? Can you tell me? (出示周六、周日图片) Saturday and Sunday are weekends. Do you go to school on weekends? Ss: No, I don’t. T: I don’t go to work on weekends, too. Boys and girls, what do you usually do on weekends? Today we will learn Unit 8 On weekends. (出示课题) 2. (出示图片) T: What do you usually do on weekends? S: I usually…(用学 过的短语 go swimming, play sports, watch TV, do homework 进行回答) 3. Learn the word “study”. Spell it. Pay attention to the pronunciation of “u”. Read the words “gun, sun, ugly”. Show the picture of study. Understand two meanings. 4. Learn the word “work” with the same method. Pay attention to the pronunciation of “or”. Read the words “word, world, worm”. Show the picture. (教师正在工作的图片) T: I work from Monday to Friday . So I want to relax myself. Let’s have a picnic, OK? 5. (出示家庭野餐图片) Learn the phrase “have a picnic”. Learn the sentences “How do you go there?” (出示自行车图片) Learn the phrase “by bike”. Compare “a little” and “little”. a little 和 little 的用法 a little 含有肯定意义,还有一点。表示数量虽然少但毕竟还有,强调“有”。 little 含有否定意义,表示没有多少或几乎没有,强调“少”。 e.g. We still have a little time.(我们还有一点时间。) He knows little English.(他几乎不懂英语。) 6. Learn the phrase “by car”, “by taxi” and “on foot”. T: If the park is far, you can go there by car. And you also can go there by taxi. It’s faster. If the park is near, you can go there on foot. Drill and practice 7. Learn the phrase “by train”, “by ship” and “by plane”. (出示动态火车、 轮船、飞机图片) 8. (分别出示钢琴、自行车和电影院、小汽车图片)Ask and answer with the point sentences. Learn the sentences “Where do you have your piano lesson?” 9.Have a chant together. (特殊疑问词用法) 特殊疑问句,一点也不难, 特殊疑问词,句子开头站。 要问什么 what 当先,询问方式 how 在前。 要问是谁就用 who,谁的 whose 来承担。 询问某地用 where, 哪个 which 先发言。 若是想问为什么,一定是 why 来抢先。 要想句子学得好,大家多多来钻研。 Presentation 2 10. T: Look at the picture. Guess! What do Bob and Xiao Hui usually do on weekends? Listen to the tape and try to answer the questions. 11. Listen and answer the questions. 12. Listen and imitate. 13. Practise the dialogue in pairs and try to act. Step Three Consolidation 1. I can write.(小作文 My Weekends) 根据图片,以 My Weekends 为题,写一篇小短文。语句通顺,条理清晰, 不少于三句话。 2. Sing a song. Step Four Homework 1.
