本课是高中英语新世纪高二第二单元 Global Drinks 的补充阅读
Coffee。本课的教学目标是让学生了解课文的主旨,尤其是喝咖啡对
人的健康的各种影响;指导学生提高英语阅读能力和口头表达(复述
课文)的能力;同时在引导学生讨论咖啡的对人体健康的作用时,培
养他们客观评估事物的价值判断力。
整堂课的课前阅读采用了自由讨论引入本课主题简洁直奔主题。
在读中活动中采用的“分段阅读-师生提问-表格填空/判断是非”的
教学方法,在老师的引导下,通过阅读与讨论,帮助学生输入了大量
的课文相关信息,诸如:人们对咖啡态度的变化;不同计量的咖啡对
人体可能产生的影响;咖啡对人体不同部位产生的积极作用;不同时
间段喝咖啡可能对人体产生的的积极和消极的作用等。实现了
Reading is both for information and fun 的意图。
课后活动设计的让学生根据课中阅读时板书的思维导图进行课
文复述,既巩固了课文的内容,又训练了学生口通表达能力,事半功
倍,取得了较好的教学效果。
