简单句和复合句之间的转换( 一 )
1.宾语从句转化为简单句。
( 1 )当谓语动词是see,hear,watch,think,find,notice等词时,其后接的宾语从句可转化
为“宾语+宾语补足语”结构,宾语补足语可由现在分词短语、介词短语等充当。例如:
Liu Ping saw that a wallet was lying on the ground.
→Liu Ping saw a wallet lying on the ground.刘平看见地上有一个钱包。
I found he had already been in the office.

( 2 )当主句谓语动词是know,learn,remember,forget,tell等词,后面接由疑问代词what
或疑问副词how,where,when等引导的宾语从句,且从句的主语与主句的主语一致时,从
句可转化为“疑问词+不定式”结构。例如:
She has forgotten how she can open the window.
→She has forgotten how to open the window.她忘记了怎样打开窗户。语法精讲
2.结果状语从句、目的状语从句转化为简单句。
( 1 )由so...that...引导的结果状语从句可以用too...to...或( not )...enough to do结构转
化为简单句。例如:
He was so angry that he couldn’t speak.
→He was too angry to speak.他气得说不出话来。
She is so young that she can’t finish the task by herself.
→She is not old enough to finish the task by herself.她太小,不能独自完成任务。
( 2 )由so that或in order that引导的目的状语从句可以用in order to或so as to结构转化
为简单句。例如:
He studied hard in order that he could pass the exam.
→He studied hard in order/so as to pass the exam.为了通过考试,他努力学习。语法精练
