You listen and guess: Which instrument is it? Ss: Listen and guess. Then look and say. 2. 出示各种音乐会的图片,理解 concert 词意。 3. 出示 poster,引导学生从 poster 中获取信息,了解故事发生的背景。 4. 预测故事中出现的主要乐器:What instrument can you see in the story? Step 2 Story Understanding 1. 预测故事 2. 播放动画,整体感知故事大意,播放第一遍 Q: What instrument can you see in the story? (师根据学生的回答贴相应的乐器图片 piano, guitar, drums. 播放第二遍故事 Q: Who are in the story? (师根据学生的回答贴相应的人物 Ann, Ken, David, Mocky) 3. 逐图理解故事 (1)出示 pic 1 Who is playing the piano? Ss: Ann is playing the piano. Who is playing the guitar? Ss: Ken is playing the guitar. 引导学生回答后显现文字,学生读对话。 (2)出示 pic 2 Who is the man? What is he reading? (He is reading a program.) 处理 program 一词和节目单内容。 T:who will play at the concert? Who will play the piano? Who will play the guitar? Ss: Ann will play the piano. Ken will play the guitar. T: Will Mocky play at the concert? Will Ken’s parents go to the concert?(yes) 教师指导学生运用语言描述 program,师板书。 (3)出示 pic 4, pic 5 T: Can David play the drums tonight? Why? (4)出示 pic 6 T: Who will play the drums? Is Mocky kidding? Step 3 Story Reading 1. Read the story after the tape. 2. Read the story in roles. (1) Model (2) You can choose a character and read the story in groups. (3) Show Step 4 Passage Understanding 1. Read the passage silently. 2. True or False (1) The Newtown School will have a concert on New Year’s Day. (2) Ann, Ken and David will play together at the concert. (3) The concert is going to start, David is well today. (4) Mocky is very happy because he can play the drums. 学生判断,对错误的句子予以改正。 Step 5 Extension 1. Retell the story. 2. Show the passage.
