一. 做题步骤。
1. 通读全文2—3遍,搞清文意和整体时态。
2. 先易后难,把最容易填的先填完,难填的需要再读几遍文章并结合上下句来推敲。
3. 都填完后,最后通读一遍,检查是否有错(比如拼写错误)。

概念:通过阅读一篇短文/对话,结合文意和语法把给出词的或者没给词汇的空白处填上≤3个
适当的词汇补充完整,使之语法正确,语意通畅。每个空白1.5分,共15分。
分类:语法填空的空白可以分为两类:给词填空+空白填词; 其中给出词汇的大约有3—5个,其余的7—5个都是空白填词。
具体阐述:
第一类:给词填空所给的词多为动词,名词,形容词,副词,数词等实词为主。
1. 动词------先判断是谓语动词还是非谓语动词。
A.谓语动词------主要要注意其时态和语态的变化。 如何+ed, +ing, 还是不规则动词(单词书后面的不规则动词表要背熟),是否双写+ing/ed, 是否是被动语态,还是没有被动形式的动词,或者是否要省略should后+do/be done等都要考虑好。
双写+ing/ed的常见动词:
regret (regretted, regretting) 后悔 control (controlled, controlling) ,
admit (admitted, admitting) 承认 occur (occurred, occurring) 出现,
prefer (preferred, preferring) 宁愿 , refer (referred, referring) 提到,
forget (forgetting ) 忘记, permit (permitted, permitting)允许,equip (equipped, equipping) 装备

B.非谓语动词-----涉及比较多的是不定式,也会涉及到现在分词/动名词和过去分词,更要注意看作是形容词的过去分词,如lost, gone, disappointed, determined,puzzling,puzzled等,以及-ing结尾的形容词与-ed结尾的形容词的区别等。总之,这要求对非谓语动词有所了解才行。

2.名词-----主要考察名词的单数或复数(如何+s/es, 是否变y为i+es),单复同形名词,易拼错词汇等。
易拼错词汇:星期:Monday,Tuesday, Wednesday,Thursday, Friday, Saturday,Sunday

3.形容词---首先要知道形容词所作的成分,知道什么时候填形容词; 其次对形容词的比较级和最高级要能从上下文中看出来:
形容词所作的成分:A.作定语(修饰名词) B.表语(系动词后) C.宾补(宾语后)。

4.副词-----主要考察副词的语法成分及其比较级或最高级。
A.作用:修饰动词或形容词或副词;B.单独使用作状语,修饰整个句子。
C.知道形容词如何变副词 D.副词的比较级和最高级
E.常见的形容词和副词转化:beauty---beautiful—beautifully 美丽的
possibility---possible—possibly 可能的
success--successful—successfully—succeed v. 成功
comfort---comfortable---comfortably4.particular—particularly 特别的
这主要靠平时的积累的形容词和副词的词汇量有多少,但是重点是理解副词是修饰什么的。

5.数词----序数词。数词主要是考察序数词的拼写是否正确。所以要背过下面的这些序数词:First,second, third, fifth, eighth,ninth, twelfth,twentieth。

3).He tried a ________(two) time, but failed.

第二类:空白填词:主要以填冠词,代词,介词,连词,从句引导词等虚词为主
1. 冠词:首先需要根据上下句或上下文是否需要特指在空白处填上合适的a, an或者the;其次要背过冠词篇子上那些带a, 带the, a/the都不带的固定词组。如:in a word, in surprise, on the whole, as a result, all of a sudden,out of control, beyond repair,the same, in the distance 等等。所以赶快去背吧。

2. 代词:主要涉及到指代上文提到过的某人某物的
A.人称代词:it,its,he,his,him,she,her,hers,they,them,theirs,we,ours,us等
B.以及它们的反身代词:himself,herself,myself,ourselves,themselves,itself等
C.形式主语/形式宾语it ;强调句式的it; it 的其它用法。
D.搞清one, ones,that,those,the ones,others, another,the others,none,nothing,no one, nobody的区别。(看《五三》讲解部分,做题练就可以达到要求)

3.介词:主要考察一些常见的介词的用法(包括定语从句介词提前)以及一些固定搭配。所以一定要把《五三》上的第三专题的讲解部分看透背熟。
