pictures, cleaning the windows,doing

StepⅡ Presentation and Drill
1.Now let’s look what is David’s
bedroom like.Is it tidy?
2.So we can say it’s “messy”,learn
“messy”.
3.Look at pictures,Then teach new
phrase: clean the room. To practice the
phrase in different ways. Then ask one
student :“What are you doing?”Let him
try to answer:“I’m cleaning the room”.
Ask the Ss to ask and answer with their
partners.
4.Learn the other phrases in the same
method. Point to a pupil and say :He is
reading a book.What’s the meaning?It’s
easy to understand. Now it’s 5:00
o’clock,I am cooking dinner,can you
help me to set the table?Let them
understand two phrases easily.
5.Practice the sentence by asking and
answering. One student does the action
casually. The teacher asks: What are
you doing? Then he/she answers:
I’m ……
6.Creating the situations to learn the
dialogue :“David’s friends will come to
his home ,now he is very busy. What is
he doing?” Please listen to the tape
recorder and answer the questions.
