Emotional aim To cultivate students’ spirit of loving life and developing good eating habits. 教材分析 This unit mainly talks about three meals every day. It mainly practices: what did we have for breakfast / lunch / dinner yesterday? 学生分析 The students have basically mastered the words and phrases: food, do / does---did, fish, chips and It’s very different. 教学模式 Feel first ------have a try------show their talent 教学准备 Cards/wall picture / tape recorder/computer 教学流程 教 师 活 动 学 生 活 动 设计意图 Activity 1 Warm-up: Play the game: look and guess. Draw parts of different food and let Ss guess what they are. Leading–in: Ask some Ss “what’s your favorite food?”, and then ask “Do you know any traditional English food in England?” Presentation: Step1.Students listen to the dialogue with question like “Where is the e-mail from?” and circle out the Ss look and guess. Ss think and guess. Answer the question. Review the names of food. Inspire Ss’ interest. 2 word: “had”. Step2. Students answer the question, and then teacher plays the tape again and let Ss listen and look at the pictures and circle out the words they don’t know and the useful phrases and sentences. Step3. Teacher writes the new words and important phrases and sentences on the blackboard and help Ss master the meanings and pronunciations of them. Step4. Let students listen to the tape and read after each sentence to practice the speaking and deepen the memory of new words and sentences. Step5. Part Ss into groups, let Ss practice the dialogue. Students act this dialogue with their neighbors. Circle out the words they don’t know and the useful information. Students listen to the tape and read the words together. Practice the dialogue in pairs. Master the new words and learn the expressio ns in the real situation. Activity 2 Ask Ss some questions about the conversation to check their understanding of this lesson. Ss find out the answers. Check and feed back Activity 3 Do part 2 Listen and say: In this part, students listen to the tape and imitate the intonation and pronunciation. After that, repeat the dialogue.
