Section B 一、教学目标 1. 能根据已学语音、音标及发音规则,正确朗读下列词汇并在实际的对话操练中加以应用: lady, gentleman, sale, guest, kind-hearted, menu, soft drink, beer, bill, corn, salad 2. 继续学习并掌握特殊疑问词引导的宾语从句和“It’s +形容词+that +从句”句型。 3. 能够在口语活动中做到语音、语调基本正确。 4. 能够识别不同句式的语调并根据语调变化体会句子意义的变化。 5. 能够听懂不同的场所应得体着装的对话,并且能够提取关键信息。 6. 能够运用正确的表达方式向别人提出合理的建议。 二、教学重点及难点 重点: 1. 能根据已学语音、音标及发音规则,正确朗读下列词汇并在实际的对话操练中加以应用: lady, gentleman, sale, guest, kind-hearted, menu, soft drink, beer, bill, corn, salad 2. 继续学习并掌握特殊疑问词引导的宾语从句和“It’s +形容词+that +从句”句型。 难点: 通过改变语调来表达不同的语气。 三、教学准备 教师:教学课件;多媒体设备 学生:课前预习 四、教学过程 Step 1 Revision After a short greeting with Ss, ask several pairs of Ss to act out the conversation in 1a in Section A to review. 【设计意图】引导学生快速回归课堂学习状态,回顾上节课的内容。 Step 2 Pre-listening 1. Look at pictures and guess what his job is. Then learn some new words. T: Can you guess his job according to his uniform? 【设计意图】通过看图猜职业的活动,激活学生的思维模式,同时学习新词汇,为新课的学 习扫清词汇障碍。 2. Present some pictures and talk about when they should wear uniforms. Then lead to the topic and key sentences of this lesson. 【设计意图】通过讨论什么时候应该穿制服这一话题,导入本课的主题及主要句型。 Step 3 While-listening Listen to 1a and mark T (True) or F (False). T: Before listening, you should read these sentences first, and think what you should pay attention to while listening. 【设计意图】培养学生在听之前先熟悉所听内容,带着问题有针对性地捕捉有效信息的意识 和习惯。 Step 4 Post-listening 1. Guide Ss to role-play the conversation in 1a. T: Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. 【设计意图】通过角色扮演,引导学生感知语音语调,提高听力和朗读能力。 2. Read 1a and complete the passage. 【设计意图】通过填空的形式,检测学生对对话内容的理解程度。 3. Learn the key points of 1a. (1) Key sentences You should wear a business suit. You should take off your shoes when you enter someone’s home in Japan. You should wear your sports clothes. Can you tell me what I should wear here? Could you tell me where the special shoes are? I don’t know why. (2) Language points It is important to wear suitable clothes on every occasion. a. It is+adj.+(for sb.) to do sth. = It is+adj.+that…(对于某人来说)做……是……的 其中 it 是形式主语,真正的主语是 to do sth.或者 that 从句。 e.g. It is important for us to take care of the environment. =It is important that we should take care of the environment. b. on every occasion 在每一个场合 occasion 为可数名词。 【设计意图】学习本课时的目标知识点。 4. Make sentences with the following information, using It’s+adj.+(for sb.) to do sth. or It’s+adj.+ that… Example: It’s suitable (for us) to wear business suits in a meeting. It’s suitable that we wear business suits in a meeting. 【设计意图】引发学生的思考,训练学生活学活用所学的句型。 5. Set the situation and guide Ss to think and discuss in groups about what they should wear when they go to a party or go out to do some exercises. And then ask several Ss to report the answers of their discussion. 【设计意图】设定具体的场景,训练学生运用所学知识进行语言综合输出。 Pronunciation Read the sentences in 3 first and then listen and try to imitate. T: Falling tone is a command while the rising tone is a more polite request. Pay attention to the pronunciation and intonation. 【设计意图】引导学生练习句子升降调的朗读,提高朗读技巧。 Test Present the exercises and let the Ss have a test. Rewrite the sentences in another way. 1. It is important that we listen to the teacher carefully in class. (改为同义句) It’s important ______ ______ ______ listen to the teacher carefully in class. 2. Black clothes are suitable for a fat person. Could you tell me where the special shoes are? We can: 1. use the sentence structure of “It’s+adj.+that…/It is+adj.+(for sb.)+to do sth.” It is important to wear suitable clothes on every occasion. It’s impolite of the man to wear jeans to go to the formal party. 2. give suggestions You should wear a business suit. You should take off your shoes when you enter someone’s home in Japan. 【设计意图】回顾本课时的主要内容。 Step 6 Homework 1. Collect more information about wearing suitable clothes in different countries. 2.
