1. --when is +主语+birthday? 某人的生日是什么时候?
-- It 's+月+日，+年。是...年...月 ...日.
when 疑问副词，引导提殊疑问句，其结构为“when+一般疑问句？”when 可以对年、月、日
以及时刻进行提问或者询问某一动作发生的时间。
Eg:When is your birthday?
My birthday is on May 2nd./It is on May 2nd
what time 翻译为“几点”问的是具体的时间，一般回答要具体到小时。
Eg:--What time do you go to school?
--I go to school at half past seven o’clock.
回答具体到点钟，且注意在几点前边的介词用 at。
2.—how old +be+主语？...多大年纪/几岁了?
How old 意为“多大年纪；几岁”，用来询问年龄。
答语常用：--主语+be+基数词 +years/months old. ......岁
3.want to do sth. 想要做某事
4.happy birthday 生日快乐，其答语为：thank you./thanks a lot./thank you very much.
5.一年十二个月份，月份前常用介词 in。Month 的复数是 months。

解析：Ailce's 为名词所有格形式，意为“艾丽斯的”。名词所有格表示人或物的所有和所属关
系，在句中作定语名词所有格的构成有's 所有格、of 所有格和双重所有格三种形式。
1）'s 所有格的构成。一般情况下在单数名词的词尾加's。Jim's book
以-s 或-es 结尾的复数名词，在词尾加“'”。The students' basketball
不以-s 结尾的复数名词，在词尾加's。Children's Day 儿童节
注意：表示两者或两者以上共同拥有某物或某人时，只在后一个名词后加's。

表示两人各自拥有不同的人或物时，两个名词都要加's。

2）of 所有格的构成
名词+of +名词便构成 of 所有格。 a picture of my family
3) 双重所有格
把 of 所有格和's 所有格结合在一起表示所有关系的结构就构成了名词的双重所有格。

a daughter of Mr.Green's 格林先生的女儿

Can 情态动词，“能；会”，表示说话人的情感、态度和能力。不能单独作谓语，只能和实义
动词一起构成谓语，且没有人称和数的变化，其后的动词要用原形。含有情态动词的句子在
变一般疑问句时，要把情态动词提前；变否定句时，在情态动词后加 not。
Can you see the ball under the chair? I can't see the ball.
10. 序数词
1. 表示事物的顺序的数词叫做序数词。它的作用相当于名词或形容词，可作主语、宾
语、定语和表语。
2. 序数词的构成：
(1) 第一：first 第二：second 第三：third
(2) 第四至第十九均在相应的基数词后加-th，但第五（fifth）和第十二（twelve）均把
基数词 five(五)和 twelve（十二）词尾的 ve 改为 f，再加-th。基数词八（eight）的序数词直
接在 eight 后加-h，即 eighth，九（nine）的序数词是将 nine 词尾的 e 去掉，再加-th，即 ninth。
(3) 整十的序数词是把对应的基数词的最后一个字母 y 变为 ie 再加-th。
(4) 表示“几十几”的基数词变序数词时，只将个位数变为序数词，十位数不变。
3. 序数词前一般要加定冠词 the 表示顺序。
The Yellow River is the second longest river in China. 黄河是中国第二长河。
4. 序数词常用作名词的定语，但当名词前已有物主代词等限定词时，则不再用 the
her fourth birthday 她的四岁生日
5. 表示英语中的分数时，分子用基数词，写在前面，分母用序数词，写在后面。当分
子超过 1 时，分母的序数词后要加“s”。

6. 序数词前有时也可用不定冠词 a/an，这时不再表示在具体范围内的“第几”，而是表示
在原有基础上的“又一个，另一个”。

7. 表示编号时，常把基数词放在名词后面来表示顺序，相当于“the+序数词+名词”。
