Teaching Plan Title: Unit 3 (S1A Oxford) A taste of travel —Places of interest 名胜古迹 I. Main aims 教学目标: 1. to grasp the usage of the core words and phrases in the context; 掌握核心词汇及短语在语境中的运用 2. to understand the general idea of the text; 理解文本含义 3. to summarize the general elements to describe a place of interest (emphasize to describe a structure), and learn to introduce Chinese places of interest; 归纳总结描述景点（侧重建筑）的一般要素，并学会用英语讲述介绍中国名胜古迹； 4. to develop the taste in appreciating structures including our school founder’s classic works, improving culture confidence and highlighting the spirit of craftsman . 学会鉴赏中国建筑，提升传统文化自信；讲述校主建造的经典作品，弘扬工匠精神。 II. Teaching focus 教学重难点: 1. to help the students to grasp the usage of the core words and phrases in the context. 帮助学生掌握核心词汇及短语在语境中的运用 2. to guide the students to analyze the text, summarize the general elements to describe a structure and apply into daily talking . 引导学生分析文本，归纳总结描述建筑物的要素，并运用于实际交际中。 III.
