Teaching objectives:
By the end of the lesson, students are expected to:
1. learn some sentence patterns of recommending plants and be able to make their own dialogue
in a flower shop based on the knowledge they have gained .
2. choose suitable plants for the plants corner according to their features and state the reasons for
their choices.
3. develop listening skills of identifying the main idea of the dialogue.

Assignments Choose the ideal plants for the teachers’ office in the class and state the reasons to
make your choice persuasive based on the checklist. Your passage should include
what you want to buy, why you want to buy them and how you should take care of
them. (With no less than 80 words)
