Oxford English S2B Unit 6 More Reading The problem of Packaging 教学设计说明 1. 教材与学情分析 主题语境：人与社会——环境保护 语篇类型：说明文 授课时长：一课时（40 分钟） 单元分析 本书第三模块的主题是 Our fragile environment，一共包括两个单元四篇课文，其中第五 单元的 Reading 部分 Green Orchids 是一篇记叙文，讲述的是一个重病商人破坏环境，最终 扼杀了自己痊愈的可能，More reading 部分 Helping Environment 是一篇说明文，告诉人们可 以通过购买绿色产品保护环境，第六单元 Reading 部分是一篇说明文，讲述了品牌 Body shop 的环保理念，几篇文章都围绕环保主题展开，从不同角度向学生传达环保理念。 文本分析 本课授课内容为 More reading: The Problem of Packaging，本文聚焦环保的一部分：包装， 讲述了包装对环境的危害，并介绍了德国所采取的治理措施，文本理解的难点在于引导学生 体会包装对环境的巨大危害，力求通过课堂教学提升学生的表达能力和思维品质，树立学生 从我做起，从小事做起，保护环境的意识。 学情分析 本节课的授课对象为本校高二（10）班学生，有一定的语言基础和获取基本文本信息的 能力，但是语言表达能力和发散性思维还有待提高。该文本的主题（环保）对学生而言并不 陌生，积累了一定的相关语言表达。但包装学生虽然几乎每天都在接触，但是此前并未聚焦 这一具体话题，未曾意识到包装对环境的巨大危害。 2. 教学设计 【Teaching objectives】 By the end of this class, the students are expected to: 1. have a good command of the words and phrases including landfill, stink, leak, vigilant and do one’s part. 2. understand the problem of packaging, its huge influence on the environment, and its solution 3. develop a sense of environmental protection through talking about the measures people can take in their daily life. 【Teaching procedure】 Stages Learning activities Purposes Pre-reading 1.
