Teaching procedure:
I. Pre-reading:
1. Introduction of the Opera House with the help of some pictures
The Paris Opera House was built between 1861 and1875, which has a lake of water
underneath it. The French writer Caston Leruox wrote the novel entitled The Phantom of the
Opera in 1911, which made a mad musical genius and an innocent girl popular.
There were at least four film versions about It, but the most excellent stage comic was first
performed in Broadway of London in 1986,and now appeared in many big cities, like Shanghai.
