1) With the teacher’s instructions, students will be able to extract the key information and
acquire the gist for each paragraph in the body of the reading passage
2) Students will be able to describe the plants mentioned in the passage with the focused
vocabulary.
3) With the help of the Chinese clues given by the teacher and the focused vocabulary, students
will be able to apply what they have learned to describing the plants on the campus.
