【设计理念】
上海市中小学英语课程标准指出:教学要体现学生主体性原则。教学过程中
应突出学生的主体地位,充分发挥学生的主动性和积极性。要营造宽松、和谐的
学习氛围,激发学生的学习兴趣和求知欲望;要尊重学生的个体差异,重视学习
方法指导,培养良好的学习习惯和自主学习的能力。同时,英语高考正经历一轮
新的改革,从明年起,以往只做参考的听说成绩将纳入高考总分,占全卷的 10
分。听说考试中涉及朗读句子、情景提问、看图说话、听说结合、简述与问答等
题型。此轮改革,充分考察学生应用这门语言的能力。这就要求在平时的教学过
程中,将听和说的语言学习贯穿课堂内外。
因此,本课以兴趣为出发点,将听说读写的训练贯穿整堂课。教师通过难易
结合、形式多样的学习任务引导全体学生积极思考问题,启发学生的思维,克服
学生对语篇的畏难情绪,积极参与课堂活动,在活动中充分理解文本。同时,教
师立足于文本,有效进行语言材料的输入,充分发挥语言材料的价值,为课堂最
后的语言输出做好铺垫。教师是指引者,学生是学习的主体。学生在课堂活动的
中积极思考,勇于表达,提高英语学习的兴趣和自信心。
【教学分析】
教材分析: 本课系牛津教材高二第二学期中的一课,题为 Green orchids(绿色
的兰花),选自于有关环境问题一书中的一个故事。1)故事以主旨引领,开门见
山:Life is a series of choices, and we cannot always foresee the consequences.(生活
就是一系列的选择,我们无法预见其结果。)交代了利欲熏心的商人 Saleem 因为
一个错误的选择而丧失了活命的机会,故事内容足以引发学生的学习兴趣。2)
语篇中的生词不会对学生的总体理解造成障碍,可以以此锻炼学生联系上下文理
解生词的能力。3)故事情节清晰紧凑。教师可以通过设计不同的任务,帮助学
生深入领会故事内容和主旨,同时有效指导答题技巧,规范答题,且在本文故事
的基础上,大胆猜测另一种可能的结局,充分领会文章主旨。因此,根据教材特
点,本堂课侧重阅读并辅以训练学生的口头表达能力,在完成教师设计的各项问
题和任务的过程中,引导学生积极阅读,尽可能多地摄取相关话题的语言信息,
做好相关的语言输出储备。同时,在探讨故事发展前因后果的过程中,帮助学生
建立珍爱生命,保护环境的意识。
学情分析:1)学生词汇量缺乏,对较长篇幅文章的阅读存在畏难情绪。文章的
篇幅和其中的生词往往阻碍了他们的阅读兴趣,使得阅读能力无法得到进一步的
提高。而本课以故事形式出现,教师旨在从课堂伊始抓住学生的兴趣点,将其引
入故事的情境之中,通过设计不同形式的、符合学生能力水平的任务,引导学生
积极阅读思考。2)本班学生间的个体差异较大。鉴于这一特殊情况,教师的问
题设计难易结合,听说训练由浅入深,旨在使各个层次的学生学有所获,体会语
言学习的乐趣,从而提升语言学习的信心。
