Teaching Aims:
Through this lesson, students are expected to

2. know some basic body languages and their applications.
3. grasp the meaning of some key words and expressions. .

1. develop reading skills .
2. improve students’ speaking ability by group discussion.

1. encourage students to communicate by various means, especially body language.
2. make students more confident when communicating.
Teaching focus: The whole lesson will focus on the comprehension of the whole text and the
function of body language.
Teaching difficulties: to encourage students to use body language to aid them when communicating
in English.

reflection Students show great interests in the topic but find it hard to express their feelings even after
the teacher gives some advice on how to use body language, our topic, to serve as their
assistant. So, some basic expressions of facial expressions and gesture may help a lot and
should be taught beforehand.
