教学设计与说明 一、指导思想 根据英语学科核心素养的基本要求，英语教学要着力培养学生的语言能力、文化意识、 思维品质和学习能力。英语语言能力是学科核心素养的基础，包括听、说、读、看、写四方 面。语言能力的提升蕴含文化意识、思维品质和学习能力的提升。因此，本节课以提高学生 的听说能力为基础，渗透西方国家的餐饮文化以及增强学生的语言学习能力。 二、教材分析 本节课为听说课，听说材料取材于高一《英语（牛津上海版）》S1U6 Ordering food，并 在此基础上进行了调整和提炼。第一篇听力材料为一名女服务生和一名男顾客在餐厅点单的 视频，第二篇听力材料则为一名男服务生为两名不停改变主意的顾客点单的对话。整节课由 四部分组成，即：Listening I、Speaking I、Listening II、Speaking II，围绕 ordering food 这 一话题，综合训练学生的英语听和说的能力。 三、学情分析 本节课授课对象为高一（7）班，由 42 名学生组成，属于平行班。学生的语言储备较为 匮乏，听说能力较弱。此外，虽然很多学生在日常生活中有过在快餐店点餐的生活体验，但 是缺乏在外国餐厅点单的实际经历。因此，学生对于外国餐厅点餐作为顾客和服务员所使用 的句型表达以及外国的点餐文化缺乏了解。 四、教法分析 本节听说课借助引导性教授法、演示法以及练习法对学生的听说技能进行锻炼。听是语 言的输入环节，说则是语言的输出环节。学生在吸收和理解语言的基础上才能表达和传递信 息。听与说二者紧密结合，相辅相成，密不可分。语言能力的提升亦离不开文化意识，因此 听说课不仅要注重提高学生的英语听说能力，更要渗透文化背景，让学生将语言置于文化语 境中，从而更深层次地理解和运用语言。 五、教学重、难点 教学重点： 1. 提高学生在听力过程中获取语言信息的能力。 2. 引导学生掌握外国餐厅点餐所常用的句型表达。 3. 引导学生了解外国点餐文化，从而树立跨文化交际意识。 教学难点：创设真实的语境，激励学生将语言习得运用于口语交际中。 六、教学过程 导学：自学自研 背景铺垫，自主探究 通过布置课前作业，让学生在自学自研中借助网络资源了解外国的餐饮文化以及外国餐 厅中常见的食物名称，为本节课做好充分的文化背景以及词汇量铺垫。学生在自学自研中强 化自主学习习惯，培养其自主学习能力。 助学：互学互研 语言习得，内化吸收 在观看第一个外国餐厅点餐视频中，老师通过问题设置引导学生捕捉关键词以及句型， 让学生习得外国点餐服务员和顾客所使用的基本表达。老师通过与学生互动，向学生示范如 何使用已学到的句型进行对话点餐。在听第二个听力材料环节中，教师引导学生重点关注点 餐过程中顾客改变主意的句型表达，进一步丰富 ordering food 语境中对学生的语言输入。 督学：深学深研 语言运用 ，潜力激活 教师通过创设真实的语境，为学生灵活运用语言搭建平台。结合本节课所学到的语言表 达，老师借助小组合作的形式，让学生在对话中完成语言知识的深化理解与掌握，达到口语 交际的目的。让学生在实际运用中领悟语言的真谛以及文化内涵，深化学生的跨文化意识， 丰富学生的语言储备。 Teaching Plan Teaching Objectives: By the end of the class, students will be able to  employ useful expressions to order food and take orders in speaking activities  establish the awareness of cultural differences in ordering food Teaching focus&difficult points: How to help the students to order food and take orders using what has been learned in this lesson Teaching Procedures: Stages Activities Purposes Listening I 1. Show students a picture and ask them the following questions: Where are they? What is the proper relationship between them? What are they doing? 2. Display the video and guide students to listen for useful expressions used by the waiter and customer. 3. Have students watch the video again and shift students’ attention to the steps to take orders. 1. To elicit the topic and arouse the students’ interest. 2. To equip students with the expressions when ordering food. 3. To help students to know how to take orders as a server. Speaking I 1. Invite one student to make a dialogue to set an example to students. 2. Require students to work in pairs and make a dialogue using the menu and useful expressions learned in Listening I. 1. To guide students to get a better understanding of ordering food. 2. To help students consolidate the useful expressions used by the waiter and customer. Listening II 1. Ask students to listen attentively to dialogue two and then write down the sentences showing the customer changes his mind. 1. To lead students to focus on the sentences used to change your mind. Speaking II 1. Invite one student to make a dialogue to keep students informed of the typical foreign ordering food culture. 2. Ask students work in groups of 4 and make a conversation using the given menu and all the sentences learned today. 1. To familiar students with the different culture in ordering food. 2. To present students with the chance to apply these expressions to practice. Assignment Assign students to write down the dialogue they have made with their group members. To consolidate the expressions used for ordering food.
