Food and drink 教学设计 Food and drink 教学设计 教学目标： 1. 通过观看视频，和阅读文字材料，获取故事中两个人物用餐的部分信 息。 2. 通过实际操作，学习中西饮食中主要餐具的基本使用方法。 3. 通过故事让学生了解到中西用餐的一些差异。 教学重难点： 1. 获取用餐过程中的信息。 2. 了解西餐中主要餐具的基本使用方法。 教学内容： 1. 故事 At the food festival（一个中国女孩儿和美国男孩一起用餐的故 事）。 2. 单词: chopsticks, knife, fork, spoon 3. 句型：Put______ in/on _______ . Hold ______ with ______ . 教学过程： 一、 Warm - up 二、 Lead in 1. 介绍一起来武汉的两位朋友，引出他们在美食节。2. 问学生 If you are going to the food festival, what would you like to eat? 学生说自己喜欢的食物。 3. What will they eat? Let’s have a look. 三、 Presentation 播放二人点餐的录像。 1. 结束后引导学生回答 Li Xuechen will eat hot dry noodles. Karlos will eat steak. 2. 图片出示，饭已经上好。问 What will they use? 3. 引导学生回答：吃中餐用 chopsticks, 吃牛排用 fork, knife, spoon。 老师用“拼音英语”教学法，四会教学这四个单词。 4. 引导学生回答：Li Xuechen will use chopsticks. Karlos will use fork, knife and spoon. 教师说：Will Karlos use fork, knife, and spoon? Are you sure? May be not. 由此引出下一段视频。 5. 学生看后，朗读刚才视频中两个人的对话。 然后回答： Karlos will eat hot dry noodles. He will use chopsticks. Li Xuechen will eat steak. She will use fork, knife and spoon. 6. 播放两个人交换 noodles and steak 的视频，以搞笑的方式告诉孩子 们 Karlos 不会用筷子，Li Xuechen 不会用刀叉。并问学生：If you are Li Xuechen, what will you do? 引导学生回答：I will teach him to use the chopsticks. 7. 问学生 Can you use the chopsticks? How many fingers do you use? 学生争议后，教师引导学生通过看视频 Follow Li Xuechen to learn the standard usage of the chopsticks. 并最终告 诉孩子们筷子的标准用法应该用 four fingers. 8. 教师引导学生说：Now it’s time for Karlos to teach Li Xuechen something about western food. 观看视频了解如何吃西餐。 9. 重点讲解刚才视频中呈现的 how to set the table, 以及 how to use the fork and knife. Firstly let’s learn how to set the table. 师领读第 一段。然后学生练习。 四、 Practice 1. 现场 set the table. 学生拿出老师事先准备好的 fork，knife, spoon and plate. 请一名同学来黑板上摆，其他同学在下面边填空边 摆餐具。 2. Put the plate in the middle. Put the fork on the left side. Put the knife and spoon on the right side. 3. Game. Put these words on the left, right or in the middle. 左边圈代表中国，右边圈代表西方国家，中间代表 中西共有的。 第一组: chopsticks, fork, knife, spoon. 第二组: hamburger, Coke, noodles, steak, tea, rice, fish, soup 4. 完成游戏后，教师带领学生学习第二段话，领读后，让学生总结出这段话的标题 How to Use Fork and Knife 然后齐读第二段话。 5. 读完后，师说：Just now you did a very good job. So everyone will have a big steak. 图片给出一大份牛排。And now let’s eat it. 6. 让学生边做动作边回答问题。 Hold the fork with the left hand. Hold the knife with the right hand. Hold the food with fork, and cut with the knife. 填空完成后，再以 chant 的方式把这四句话操练两遍。 五、 Consolidation and Extension 对本节课所讲内容做一个总结复习。 1. 对刚才吃西餐的各个步骤带领学生进行复述。 2. When we have Chinese food with the chopsticks, we should use four fingers. 3. Don’t forget Li Xuechen and Karlos. What are they doing now? Let’s have a look. 放他们两个在吃饭时不断犯礼仪方面的错的 视频。 4. Oh my god. How naughty they are！When you have meals, will you wave the fork or knife? Will you spit something like that? They are all the mistakes about the table manners. 七．Homework 先说第 2 项 (After class please) Collect some knowledge about table manners(礼仪). (Next lesson we will it.)再布置第 1 项 （And when you get home, don’t forget to）Talk about the usage(用法) of these tableware (餐具) with your friends and parents. 再告诉学生 This is our homework. 八．板书设计
