词。

【拓展】1） run out of 也可以表示“从……跑出来”的意思。
The dog ran out of the room. 这条狗从房间里跑了出来。
2） sth. run(s) out 表示“某物用完了”Our food will soon run out. 我们的
食物快吃了。
