然的因果关系, 从句一般放在主句的_____(前面/后

将来时?

本句为含if引导的条件状语从句的复合句。if引导的条
件状语从句既可以放在主句之前, 也可以放在主句之
后。在以下三种情况下, if引导的条件状语从句用一般
现在时表示将来时:
(1)当主句用一般将来时态时(主将从现);
(2)当主句中含有情态动词时(主情从现);
(3)当主句为祈使句时(主祈从现)。
*If it doesn’t rain this weekend, we’ll go climbing.
如果这个周末不下雨, 我们将去爬山。
*Please call him if you get there.
如果你到了那里, 请给他打电话。
【拓展】 if的其他含义
if还可意为“是否”, 引导宾语从句(=whether), 用法
如下:
(1)主句是一般现在时, 从句根据具体情况使用相应时
态。Do you know if she’s married? 你知道她是否结婚
了吗?
(2)主句是一般过去时, 从句使用相对应的过去时态。
He couldn’t tell if she was laughing or crying.
他弄不清楚, 她是在笑还是在哭。
