听力录音原稿
(Text 1) W: Have you always liked classical music?
M: No. I’ve liked classical music recently. When I was in college, I liked rock music.
W: Well, in fact I’m really into pop music.
(Text 2) W: I bought a second-hand TV set on sale yesterday. It cost me $150.
M: Only $150? Mine cost three times as much!
(Text 3) M: I thought you were going to attend a meeting in Atlanta last Saturday.
W: I was planning to, but I haven’t been feeling well, so I stayed at home.
(Text 4) M: You’re late for work again.
W: Oh, I’m sorry I’m late -- I miss the bus. I was trying to decide whether to walk or go back and get
my bike when I saw my neighbour. Luckily he offered me a lift.
(Text 5) W: Sir, I really would love to be a policeman. I especially like the teamwork.
M: Sounds interesting, but I’m afraid the job is not proper for you, I mean, without any special
training or experience.
(Text 6) W: Hello? 安溪一中高一网络学习测试试卷 2 / 3

M: Hello, Ms. Lock. This is Jack Warner.
W: Uh, Mr. Warner ... in Apartment 205?
M: No, in Apartment 305?
W: Oh, yes. What can I do for you? Does your fridge need fixing again?
M: No, it’s the oven this time.
W: Oh, so what’s wrong with it?
M: Well, I think the temperature control needs to be checked. Everything I try to cook gets burned.
W: Really? OK, I’ll have someone look at it right away.
M: Thanks a lot, Ms. Lock.
(Text 7) W: Hey, Ted. You look tired.
M: I didn’t sleep much last night. My roommate Allen has turned his computer into an electronic
playground. He plays football, drives racing cars, and does a lot of other games.
W: Didn’t you like games? What do you usually do on the computer?
M: I don’t like them. I usually get a lot of information on the computer and use e-mail to send
messages to my friends.
W: Me too. Recently, I’ve made friends on the Net. I talk to them frequently.
M: Don’t you think it’s a waste of both time and money?
W: I’m afraid not. To me getting in touch with each other has more fun than the coolest computer
games or the hottest information.
(Text 8) W: Good evening. This is Gino’s. Can I help you?
M: It’s my mother’s birthday next week, so I’d like to book a table.
W: Certainly, sir. Which day?
M: It’s next Friday, 20th of May.
W: All right. And how many people?
M: Let me see. There’s my wife and I ... our two children ... and Mun, of course ... oh, and my
brother James. So that’s 6. And I don’t get home from work until 6:00 on Friday, so let’s say
7:00.
W: And what would you like me to put on the cake?
M: Oh! I didn’t know you did cakes! I think you’d better just put “Happy Birthday”.
W: That’s fine. All I need now is your name.
M: Nick Sherman.
W: Thank you, Mr. Sherman. See you on Friday.
(Text 9) M: Hello, English Homestead Courses. Can I help you?
W: Can you tell me exactly what an English Homestead Course is, please?
M: Yes. If you take our course, you don’t need to go to a school or college. You can stay in your
English teacher’s home.
W: I see, but will I be able to meet any other students?
M: Yes, all the students meet at the Sports Center every Wednesday. And on Fridays we go to the
cinema. Every Saturday we all go on an outing.
W: Do I need to take any books with me?
M: The only thing you need to take is a dictionary. We’ll give you a course book and a grammar
book when you get here.
W: And how much do the courses cost?
M: A-week-long course is £250, but it you take a four-week course, it costs only £860.
W: I see. Thank you.
(Text 10) M: Hello, everyone. Now I’d like to tell you something about myself. I’m Pat Milton. I
began to surf about 30 years ago when I was only 11 years old in Florida. I have been crazy 安溪一中高一网络学习测试试卷 3 / 3

about surfing since then. I took part in a lot of games when I graduated from university. I met
Lynn in 1992. Then in the following four years as a championship group surfing team, we won
nine titles, taking the gold in Santa Cruz and Oceanside. To tell you the truth, Lynn didn’t surf
by herself and she was not a strong swimmer, so love can make one do crazy things! In September
1994, we got married in California. Now both Lynn and I are teaching surfing at the San Diego
Surfing Academy full time. We like to share our skills with surfing fans. We are living a happy
life.
