精通英语三年级下册 Lesson 28 教学设计
一. 教学目标
1. 能听、说、读、写字母 Q q 和 R r;能听、说
、认读单词:quail, rabbit, rooster;能听懂、会说句
子 What’s this? Is it a …? Yes/No, it’s a … ,并且能够
在日常生活中进行交际。
2. 通过操练单词和句型,进一步培养学生的听、说、
认读能力,为今后的英语学习打下良好的基础。
3. 培养学生保护动物爱护动物的品质。培养学生的注
意力、观察力,通过小组活动,共同完成学习任务。
同时,在任务中,引导学生积极运用所学语言进行
交流。
二. 教学重点
字母 Q q 和 R r 的认读和书写;单词 quail, rabbit,
rooster 的认读,以及句型 What’s this? Is it a …?在真
实语言环境中的初步运用。
三. 教学难点
一般疑问句 Is it a …?的问答;以及单词 quail 的发音。
四. 教法和学法
运用自主探究、合作学习、任务驱动型教学模式。
遵循课堂“活动化”原则,采用活动途径,倡导体验和
参与。爱玩是孩子的天性,要让孩子在愉快的游戏中习
得语言,而不是机械地学习语言。要让孩子在学中做,
在做中学,边学边做。激发学生身上潜在的动力,从而
增强对英语的喜爱。

多媒体课件、单词挂图图片、单词字母卡片、小动物粘
贴、学生自己画的动物园图片
六. 教学过程
I. Warming-up
1.Listen to the song“Zoo Song”.
T: Let’s go to the zoo, OK? Ss: OK!
(If the student is active in class, he/she will get
the one animals ’sticker.)
II. Presentation
1.Learn the letter“Qq”and the words“chick”
and “quail”.
Look at the zoo picture, and ask and answer:
-What’s this/ that?
-It’s a bear/monkey/bird/chick.
(Lead in the new word: chick.)
→ It’s a chick. → Is it a chick?
-No, it’s a quail.
(Lead in the new word: quail.)
Learn the letter“Qq”and the word “quail”.
Let’s chant: Qq, Qq, Qq. quail, quail, quail.
It’s a quail.
2.Practice the short dialogue: (Using the cards)
A: What’s this?
B: Is it a chick?
A: No, it’s a quail.
3. Learn the letter“Rr”and the word“rooster”.
T:We know that: A quail's mother is a quail .
A quail's father is a quail .
How about “the chick's mother and father”?
(Lead in the new word: rooster.)
Learn the letter“Rr”and the word “rooster”.
Let’s chant: Rr, Rr, Rr. rooster, rooster,
It’s a rooster.
4. Play a guessing game.
There are three pictures with some parts
missing. Guess which one is the
chick/quail/rooster through asking the
question:
Is it a …? Yes, it’s a…
No, it’s a…
5.Listen to the song“Let’s sing from A to R.”
6. Learn the word“rabbit”.
After singing from A-R, try to count from A to R
to guess the animal by asking “Is it a …?”, then
lead in the word“rabbit”.
III.Consolidation
1. Practice the dialogue.
T: Today, Yang Ming also comes to the zoo.
Let’s watch the flash, and find the answer
“What do they see?”
(Read the dialogue and practice it in pairs.)
IV. Practice.
1. The students use the zoo pictures which drew
before the class to make up a new dialogue:
(The animals ’stickers can be used in this part.)
A:What’s this/that?
B : Is it a/an …?
C: Yes / No, it’s a/an…
D :It’s big/nice/cool…
2. Moral education.
We should protect and make friends with the
animals.
V. Homework
1. Listen and read Lesson 28.
2. Copy the letters.
3. Make a new dialogue to talk about the animals
with your partners.
