be supposed to do sth. 意为“应该做某事;被期望做某事”,这一结构
表示主语被期望或被要求做某事,含有应该或理应做某事之意,相当于
should,但 should 语气比 be supposed to do sth. 更委婉些。其否定形式为
be supposed not to do sth., 意为“不准做某事,不应该做某事”。例如:
We are supposed to help each other. 我们应该互相帮助。

考点3 “It is + adj.+(for / of sb. ) to do sth.”句型的用法。
这是个动词不定式作主语的句型。句型中 it 为形式主语,真正的主语
是 to do sth.。
1. “It is +adj. + for sb. to do sth.”意为“做某事对某人来说
很……”。这里的adj.是 do sth. 的属性,里面的 sb. 跟adj.没有直接联系。
例如:
It’s difficult for me to deal with the problem. 对于我来说,要处理这个问
题很难。
