Warm-up Watch and say 教师呈现图片，学生观看图片并回答：Where is...? T: Before we start our new lesson, let’s watch and say. 设计意图：通过看图回答的活动，活跃课堂气氛，并复习本单元重点词汇。 Step 2. Presentation 1. Look and find the common letters 教师出示单词 dog, box, orange, body，请学生找出每组单词中相同的字母。 T: Now let’s look at the words. What do they have in common? Please find it. 设计意图：通过看单词找相同字母，引入本课时的语音话题。 2. Look, read and learn T: Next let’s learn these four words which includes the letters “o”. 出示单词 dog, box, orange, body 及意思或图片，教师带读，学生跟读，感知单词发音。 T: Now let’s learn some new words. 设计意图：利用图文相结合的方式，讲授本课重点单词，激活学生的知识储备。 3. Listen, read and find T: Now let’s listen and find the similarities in the words. 教师出示单词 dog, box, orange, body，并播放 Listen, repeat and chant 的音频，学生跟读。然 后请学生试着说出这几个词中的发音规律。 字母 o 在单词中发 / ɒ / 的音。 4. Language point 教师总结字母 o 在单词中的发/ɒ/音并讲解，学生观看学习。 设计意图：通过听音，找单词的相同点，总结字母 o 在单词中的发音规律，便于学生牢记。 5. Listen and repeat 再次播放录音，让学生听音跟读。 T: Now you’ve got to Listen, repeat and chant. Pay much attention to the pronunciation. 设计意图：通过听音跟读，进一步巩固字母 o 在单词中的发音，并活跃课堂气氛。 Step 3. Practice 1. Read, listen and number 教师播放 Read, listen and number 的音频，让学生听音标号。 T: Now you’ve got to read, listen and number. Pay much attention to the pronunciation. 设计意图：引导学生通过看、听、说等途径来巩固字母 o 在单词中的发音。 2. Listen and write 教师请学生看课本第 40 页 Listen and write，先读一读。然后教师规范书写这四个单词，学 生跟着在书上规范书写。之后播放 Listen and write 的动画或录音，让学生注意观察。 T: Well done! Now turn to page 26. You read them first, then listen and write. 设计意图：帮助学生强化良好的英语书写习惯。 3. Do exercise 教师呈现字母发音练习，学生根据录音选择正确的单词。 T: Now let’s play a game and practice the pronunciation of “o”. 设计意图：通过小猴摘桃子小游戏的形式，练习元音字母 o 的发音。 4. Play a game 教师可以准备多张字母卡片 b, d, x, g, l, m, n, y 和一张字母 o 的卡片，请 6 个学生上讲台， 在规定的时间内要求台上的学生组合出一个单词并站好，然后举起卡片，请台下的学生拼读 该单词。 设计意图：通过游戏的形式，练习元音字母 o 的发音，激发学生的积极性。 5.
