课时分析
本课时是人教版六年级下册第五单元第二课时。围绕“父母的职业”这一话题展开,主
要通过对话学习词汇 factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer 及询问职业的句型
What does ... do? He/She’s ...的表达。引导学生尊重他人的劳动,培养学生学习英语的热情,
树立学好英语的信心。第一课时是本单元的首课时,为其它课时的学习做好铺垫。本课时的
重点是四会单词的掌握以及能够运用四会单词谈论职业。
本课时包括 Let’s learn 和 Listen, match and say 两个版块。Let’s learn 呈现了张鹏和 Oliver
在职业体验日谈论自己父母工作的场景,体现了单词及词组的词形和意义。此话题贴近学生
的实际生活,更能激发学生学习的兴趣。Listen, match and say 版块是一个半机械性的操练活
动。学生可以通过这个活动巩固运用 A 部分学的词汇和句型。
有关职业的词汇和询问职业的句型 What’s ...’s job? He’s/She’s...在四年级的教材中已经
初步涉及过,可以以此为契机呈现本课重点词汇和句型,并采用游戏、猜谜等方法巩固和运
用所学知识。
课时目标
(1)能够听、说、读、写单词和词组:factory worker, postman, businessman, police officer。
(2)能够听、说、读、写句型:
—What does he do? —He is a businessman.
(3)能够运用句型 What does ... do? He/She’s...谈论职业。
(4)能够尊重他人的劳动。

教学过程
Step 1 Lead in
通过一只小猫的梦想,是变成老虎的图片来表达。Everyone has a dream。然后提问学生,
What do you want to be。
学生根据自己的情况来回答,I want to be…例如学生回答,I want to be a teacher 或者 I want to
be a cook…
设计意图:通过复习已学的表示职业的单词,自然的引出新知。
Step 3 Presentation
1. 问学生,Do you want To Be a police officer?导出 police officer,板书本书并且领读 police
officer 告诉学生这个 police officer,男和女都是一样的。
2. 显示 Miss white 的头像,引导学生用 what does Miss white do? she is a teacher 来进行练
习。
3. Teaching “factory worker, postman, businessman,”.
(1)T: We have other jobs around us. Look at the pictures. What are their jobs?(呈现教材图片)
Look at picture 1. What does she do?
Ss: She’s a factory worker.(引导学生回答,板书句子,教学词组 factory worker,教读词组,
齐读词组) 学生两人练习,What does she do? she is a factory worker。书 factory worker,并
且领读学生跟读,纠正发音。并且告诉学生,There are factory workers day works in a factory。
T: Look at picture 2. What does he do?
Ss: He’s a postman.(板书句子,教学单词 postman,指名读单词,分组读单词,齐读单词)
T: Look at picture 3. What does he do? 学生根据情况来练习,What does she do she the post
woman。介绍女邮递员的工作地点,然后区分 post man 和 post woman。
Ss: 通过马云的图片介绍 business man He’s a businessman.(板书单词 businessman,教读
单词,注意拆分音节,指名读单词,齐读单词)介绍他的工作地点,He works in the building。
接着介绍business man和 business woman。通过以下句型,让学生练习 business man 和business
woman。Do you have a business man of business woman in your family。学生根据实际情况来
进行回答,例如 My father is business man。
T: Look at 4 pictures.(呈现单词 police officer 等,学生将指名读,带读)
设计意图:借助于图片呈现词汇,形象直观。利用学生的迁移能力学习词汇,培养学生对
单词的认读能力。
2. Learn the sentences “What does he/she do? He’s/She’s...”
(1) T: There are so many careers in our steel e life。介绍 careers day
图片展示各种各样的职业,通过张鹏和 Oliver 的交流,了解 Oliver 的家人都是做什么
工作的。
T: What does she do?(板书句子,教学句子)
S1: She’s a...
T: What does he do?(板书句子,理解句子)
S2: He’s a...
(2) Do practice with “What does he/she do? He’s/She’s a...”.
课件呈现 postman, businessman, police officer, factory worker, doctor 等图片,指组练习、
师生练习、男女生练习。
(3) T: It’s Career Day. Zhang Peng and Oliver are talking about their father in front of the display
board. What does Oliver’s father do? Guess.
S1: Is she a...?
用填空的形式来进行练习句型,每一个句子的难度逐渐加大。指导学生能够独立说出
两个功能句。
(4) 通过张鹏的妈妈是家庭主妇这个职业,询问学生,Is your mother house wife?得到肯定
或者否定的回答。。
(5) 用教师自己的照片询问学生,What does he do?用一般疑问句的形式进行练习,比如 Is
he a factory worker? Is he a post man? Is he a business man?
(6) 用图片遮盖的方式让学生猜常见的司机清洁工农民的职业,训练主句型。
设计意图:仿编对话培养学生运用语言的能力。
Step 4 Practice
1. Pair work talk about your family members job。
学生根据下面的职业提示用两个主要的功能句练习,What does your fathers do ?Is he
a…?
(2) 听力练习,Listen match and say。
Check the answers。

2. Listen, match and say.
根据听力内容练习,What does he do what does she do。展示常见的职业,例如 doctor postma
n police man fire fighter active lawyer singer President。
设计意图:巩固和操练所学的核心词汇和和句型。
Step 5 Summary
告诉学生,每个人都有自己的梦想,教会一句谚语,There is a will there is away。
设计意图:激励教育。
Step 6 Homework
Homework one read the new words at least three times to find more words about jobs。
