Teaching steps:
Step I Everyday report and questions.
1. What day is it today? What’s the date today? What’s the weather
like today?
2. Whose turn is it to give us an everyday report? Ask a student to give
an everyday report and ask a question about the report.
Step II Revision and introduction
1. Now most of us live in a flat,just like Anna’s home in Moscow.Can you
say something about Anna’s home.
2. A flat is very small for us.So Stephen’s large house must be cool.Do
you think so? Please say sth. about Stephen’s home.
3. A big house is cool and comfortable.But a small wooden house in a small
town sometimes is very beautiful and quiet,just like Madee’s home.

4. Show some pictures. We know sth. about some homes in foreign

1)Listen to Simon’s dream home. Answer T or F questions.

2.His bedroom and bathroom are on the ground floor.
3.His computer room is on the second floor.
4. Simon has a garden.
5.There is a swimming pool. It is forty metres long.
