STEP 2 Presentation The teacher says: Daniel wants to write about his faourite educational computer game. Ask students the questons about Part B on P55. Get some students to answer the questions. Then check the answers together in the whole class. STEP 3 Pre-writing Tell students that Daniel wants to write down the information about the game clearly before he starts writing. Look at the questions below.Ask and answer all the questions with your partner. Get students to know that Daniel is writing an article about his favourite educational computer game.Try to help him complete the article. Work in pairs to discuss how to finish Part C. Ask one student to read his report, then check the answers together. Read the whole article. STEP 4 Writing Tell the students that you also want to join the writing competition at your school. First, think of your favourite educational computer game and write a profile of it. Analysis the structure of the passage and work out the structure about how to write an educational computer game. Divide students with groups. Each group has four students, discuss together and work out the structure. Give the students 3-4 for them to decide which computer game to write about. Walk around to help the student to organize their ideas and get more ideas. Tell the students to write about their own experience because this may give their article power.
