Step 4 Teach B1 “Greetings” on page 7 T: 1. What do you say when you meet a friend at 7:15 a.m./suppertime/2:45 p.m./10:30 p.m.? (Teach Ss the expression about the time) (Good morning/evening/afternoon/night) 2. What do you say when you meet a friend for the first time? (Hi/Hello/…What’s your name?) 3. Show Ss the pictures of Eddie and Hobo. T: Who is Eddie? Who is Hobo? What is the yellow dog’s name? What is the e-dog’s name? Who is the master? (I have a dog. I am the master of that dog.) Open your books and turn to page 6.Read the dialogue by yourselves. T: Is Eddie happy in picture 1? Why? (look after) Is Eddie happy in picture 2? Why?
