Teaching aims: Knowledge: To have a general idea of the passage
Ability: To train students the ability to do skimming and scanning and
express their ideas orally.
Emotion: To make students understand spiders are useful animals and
try to understand things in nature.
Teaching focus: To make students understand the three useful parts of spiders
Teaching difficulty: Students have difficulty in expressing opinions orally.
Teaching procedure
The first period

Divide the passage into three parts

教学设计说明:
一,教材分析:
本课是牛津教材第二学期第二单元第四课的 Reading, 本单元式介绍自然世界中的动物和
植物,本课以蜘蛛为主题,让学生能了解自然界中虽不起眼却相当重要的一个生物,改变学
生一贯对蜘蛛的厌恶,能正确的认识大自然中的生物。
二,学生分析:
地处上海偏远郊区的一所普通中学,学生的基础相对较差,词汇量积累少,口语表达尤为薄
弱,大多数学生学习缺乏主动,并不出于自身的需要去学习,仅仅为了应付老师和家长。
三,教学目标:
1. 知识与能力:
通过学习,让学生能了解文章的大概内容,了解蜘蛛在哪三个方面起着不可代替的作用,并
能掌握本课的核心重点词汇的语音和含义,最后训练其语言组织的能力。
2. 过程与方法:
学生能通过联系语境猜测词意,能通过阅读课文找到相关答案,能通过若干提示,回忆课文
重点内容,能通过核心词,连词成句,达到一定得输出。
3. 情感与价值观
学生通过语篇的阅读,老师的诱导,能一步步扭转对蜘蛛的印象,能渐渐的得出,蜘蛛是人
类的朋友而非敌人这一概念。
四,教学重点与难点:
本课的教学重点,在于让学生在有限的时间内通过阅读了解文章的大意,并在最后有一个产
出。而难点就在于,是否能做到让大多数的同学都达到这一目标。
