二、设计思路
《牛津初中英语》这套教材是按照任务型教学的原则来设计语言实践活动。
本课是 7B Unit 1 的第一课时,内容主要是描述来自四个不同国家的青少年的家,
使学生深入了解不同国家的生活方式。由于本课内容较长,因此在开始用多媒体
引用图片来描述这四个不同的家时便使用文中的重要词组,突出了这些词组的重
要,从而为后面的课文理解作了铺垫,降低了难度。通过课后 B.C 两部分的判断
错误,改错,填空等练习来提高学生的阅读能力。从而体现了坚持以学生为中心,
以任务为主的教学原则。
三、教学目标
1、掌握四会单词,词组,句型。
2、学习描述家,描述他人的生活方式。
3、能通过本课学习各国不同的家和生活方式,激发学生热爱自己的国家,家园。
4. 提高英语阅读与应用能力。

look out at, a wooden house ,over a river ,I climb a ladder to get into my house,
I’m the second child of my family. It rains a lot.

七、教学过程
Step 1:Greetings.
Step2: Revision.
1,幻灯片打出的四幅图(a flat ,a house, a palace and a restaurant)
The teacher gives a question”where would you like to live ?Why?”
(复习上节课所学句型 I’d like to----)
2,老师听了学生回答后,告诉学生自己理想中的家 My dream home isn’t a palace
because it is too big, and I wouldn’t like to live in flat because it is too small. Do you
want to know where I want to live ?(进一步放大前面所展示的 house 图片并介绍);
This is my dream home ,it is a house. My house is near the sea, It is a wooden house .I
live in it with my family, I can look out at the beach from the window . (边读边将
幻灯片上的重要词组呈现出来) 。
Step3:Reading
1 , Now, let’s listen to the home pages of four foreign students, learn about their
homes , do some “T” or “F” exercises. Check the answers
with the whole class.
