◆Teaching Procedures:
Step1: Lead in
Have a dialogue between teachers and students about watching
videos
Present a video to students then ask them questions about it
(To arisen students’ interest in sports)
T:How many sports are there in the video? S:……
Present the topic of this class
Have a dialogue with students:
What sport do you know?
What sport are these players good at ?
Who is your favourite player ? Why ?
(According to a dialougue to lead into the text about Mr Wu and his
students)
Step2: presentation
ask students to listen to the tape carefully and know the information
about these students about A1.
Ask students to check the answer
listen to the tape again .and according to the information we have
known ,finish A2
T: have you finished the notes .please check the answers.
Then ask students to read the article together.

Listen to the tape again and do T/F questions:

2). Sandy also likes playing volleyball.

5). Millie reads a lot of interesting books.
