考点三十七 地点状语从句 命题趋势： 状语从句，是中考的热点，而且也是使用很广泛的一个从句。中考对其考查的形式比较多，有的试题 直接考查的是从属连词的用法，有的试题是从句式的角度来进行考查等。在复习时，主要掌握好状语从句 的常用句式，尤其是对于状语从句的从属连词应该做到灵活掌握、熟练运用。 中考考查重点： 1. 时间状语从句； 2. 原因状语从句； 3. 地点状语从句； 4. 结果状语从句； 5. 条件状语从句； 考向一：状语从句的分类 状语从句 连词 时间 when，while，as，since，till，until，before，after，as soon as，no sooner…than， hardly/scarcely…when，the minute，the second，every/each time 地点 where，wherever，everywhere 条件 if，unless，as(so) long as，in case 原因 because，since，as，now that，seeing that，in that，considering that 让步 though，although，even if (though)，whatever，wherever，whoever，however，no matter+ wh- 比较 as…as…，(not) the same...，not so...，than 方式 as，as if/though 目的 so that，in order that，in case，for fear that，lest 结果 so that，so…that，such... that，but that 状语从句速记口诀 状语从句三要点，时间、原因和条件； 从句如果表时间，after,before,when 常用； 状语从句表原因，because 一马来当先； 状语从句表条件，if 前面来引导； 主句通常前面走，从句紧紧跟在后； 从句如在主句前，从句之后加逗点。 地点状语从句 1、地点状语从句类型 （1）Where＋地点从句。此句型通常译成＂哪里……哪里就……＂或＂……的地方＂。如： Where there is no rain, farming is difficult or impossible. 在没有雨水的地方，耕作是困难的，或根本不可能的。学科&网 They were good persons. We must camp where we can get water. 我们必须在能找到水的地方露营。 （2）Anywhere/ wherever＋地点从句，＋主句。 anywhere 本身是个副词，但是，常可以引导从句，相当于连词，意思相似于 wherever，anywhere 引导 的从句可位于主句之前，也可以位于主句之后。而 wherever 本身就是个连词，表示＂在何处，无论何处＂。 如： You can’t camp wherever/anywhere you like these days. 如今你可不能随便在哪儿宿营。 Wherever the sea is, you will find seamen. 有海就有海员。 2. where 引导的定语从句与地点状语从句的区别 a. Approximately 45 percent of the world’s population live where mosquitoes transmit malaria. b. Approximately 45 percent of the world’s population live in climate zone where mosquitoes transmit malaria. a. 全球大约有 45%的人口生活在蚊子传播疟疾的区域。 b. 全球大约有 45%的人口生活在蚊子传播疟疾的气候区域。 在例句 a 和 b 中都有一个 where 引导的从句＂where mosquitoes transmit malaria＂，而且都可译成＂蚊子 传播疟疾的地方＂，但是两个 where 从句在性质和功能上是不同的。具体来说，例句 a 中的 where 引导的从 句是一个地点状语从句，用来修饰主句的谓语动词 live，即作为状语表示＂居住＂的地点。而例句 b 中的 where 引导的从句是一个定语从句，用来修饰名词 climate zone，即作为定语来限定名词。 通过比较上述两个例句，可以看出 where 引导的地点状语从句和定语从句具有如下三方面的差异： 一、句子结构上的不同 若 where 引导的是定语从句，where 前面必然有表示地点(或抽象地点)的名词，即先行词，如例句 b 中 的 where 前面有先行词 climate zone。若 where 引导的是地点状语从句，则它前面没有表示地点的名词，比 如上面的例句 a 中 where 前面没有表示地点的名词，只有动词 live。 二、Where 的作用不同 Where 在这两类从句中所起的作用也是不同的。当 where 引导定语从句时，where 是指代地点名词，在 定语从句中作地点状语，修饰的是从句的谓语。比如，在上面的例句 b 中，where 指代的是 in climate zone， 修饰定语从句中的谓语 transmi，相当于说＂mosquitoes transmit malaria in climate zone＂，表示＂蚊子在这样 的气候区域传播疟疾＂。 当 where 引导地点状语从句时，where 在从句中不充当地点状语。where 所引导的地点状语从句修饰的 是主句的谓语，充当的是主句谓语的地点状语成分。如例句 a 中的地点状语从句＂where mosquitoes transmit malaria＂修饰的是主句谓语 live，表示 live 的地点是＂蚊子传播疟疾的地方＂。 三、where 引导地点状语从句时，where 不能改写成＂介词+which＂ 我们知道，定语从句中的 where 可以改写成＂介词+which＂的形式。如上面的例句 b，我们可以将其中 的 where 替换成 in which，即： Approximately 45 percent of the world’s population live in climate zone in which mosquitoes transmit malaria. 相比之下，地点状语从句中的 where 是不能替换为＂介词+which＂的。 综上所述，where 引导的地点状语从句与主句的谓语之间存在逻辑语义关系，表示动作发生的地点；而 where 引导的定语从句则是与 where 前面的地点(或抽象地点)名词之间存在逻辑语义关系，用来限定名词。 【典例】 1.
